@ the University of Pittsburgh
I have served as University Library System representative at various information fairs including prospective student days and graduate students fairs. During these events, I have learned to tailor and provide information about the library system to meet the needs of different audiences including parents, new students, and graduate students.

for Local, Professional Associations
Outreach is an important part of professional development. As a current co-chair of the programming committee for the WPWVC ACRL, I have gained valuable planning experience while preparing for the Fall 2013 WPWVC ACRL Meeting. This experience has allowed me to work with a team to plan an all-day event for over 50 librarians.

@ the Sanford-Brown Institute in Pittsburgh
As a solo librarian at the Sanford-Brown Institute in Pittsburgh, I was responsible for promoting library resources to students and faculty in certificate and associate's degree programs in allied health fields. Promoting library resources ranged from provided faculty presentations about copyright and library resources during in-service days, to showing students the importance of adapting to new technologies by using computers in the library and searching library databases.
